  • LIVE ANIMAL TRANSPORTATION AGREEMENT - LOCAL COLORADO

  • This agreement is between the above-named "Owner" and Horse&Halo [Forty31 Ltd], hereinafter referred to as "Transporter," and is valid for all local hauls in Colorado within a 12-month period from the date of execution.

  • Section 2: Pickup Location / Delivery Location

    To be provided by the Owner for approval and acceptance by the Transporter for each trip request.

    Section 3: Transport Terms

    This agreement covers short hauls within the state borders of Colorado only. Owner will submit a transport request prior to each trip, including horse details, pickup and delivery info. Each trip is subject to scheduling availability and confirmation by Transporter.

    Section 4: Owner Responsibilities

    • Provide Halter, Lead Rope, and enough hay for the trip.
    • Provide Copies of Current:
      • Colorado Brand Inspection [If trip is more than 75 miles]
      • Negative Coggins [Within 12 months] [If required by delivery location)
      • Current Health Certificate [30 days] [If required by delivery location]
    • Assume all risk for uninspected or uninsured animals.

  • Section 5: Transporter Responsibilities

    • Exercise reasonable care during transport
    • Provide hay net if requested and offer water breaks at least every 3 hours
    • Notify Owner in the event of emergency; if unreachable, authorize veterinary care at Owner's expense.

    Section 6: Payment and Fees

    • Transport fees will be quoted per trip and agreed upon in advance via text or email.
    • Deposit is due at booking. Final Payment is due upon delivery. Accepted payment forms: Cash, Credit Card or Zelle.
    • Surcharges may apply for:
      • Wait time over 30 minutes [$50/hr., 1-hour increments]
      • Hard Loaders [$50/hr. after first 30 minutes, 1-hour increments]
      • Last-Minute Route/location changes at Owner request
      • Undisclosed tack or equipment
      • Trailer Damage [assessed fairly]

    Section 7: Cancellations

    • Owner may cancel up to 24 hours prior to scheduled haul date and time to receive full refund.
    • Cancellations within 24 hours of scheduled pickup time will forfeit deposit.

    Section 8: Liability Waiver & Indemnification

    • Owner releases Horse&Halo and its agents from liability for injury, illness, death, or damages related to transport. Owner also agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Transporter against any claims resulting from the transported animal.

    Section 9: Governing Law & Term

    • This agreement is governed by the lays of the State of Colorado Valid for one year from the date below, unless revoked in writing.

    Section 10: Signature and Acceptance

    MY SIGNATURE BELOW INDICATES THAT I HAVE READ THIS ENTIRE DOCUMENT, UNDERSTAND IT COMPLETELY, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS IN ITS ENTIRETY.
