Reminders for all parents.
1. Godbey fields are ran and operated by a board of volunteers, volunteer coaches, and volunteer staff. No one is being paid.
2. There is a ZERO tolerance policy for poor sportsmanship by a parent or coach. These are kids and this is a game. Profanity, threats, physical altercations, or exhibiting negative behavior that promotes poor sportsmanship can result in being banned from the facility.
3. Recreational softball and baseball involves accepting every player, at every skill level. Our goal is to help each kid learn and achieve their own successes through these sports.
4. All money used to operate the facility is earned through tournaments, fundraising and sponsors. Fundraising is important for us to continue our success at providing a safe and well maintained facility for these kids to play. Please do your part to ensure as much money is earned during fundraisers as possible.
5. By signing below, you are agreeing to follow the rules above while attending or while children are playing recreational softball, baseball, or teeball.

Medical Waiver (required to be signed by a legal parent/guardian before player can participate in any WCSA sports activities):

1. I/We, the legal parent or guardian of the above named player, provide consent to allow said player to participate in all WCSA sports activities, including providing transportation to and from said activities.

2. I/We, understand that participation in any sport can result in injury. Although coaches will take every step necessary to ensure all safety measures are taken, including providing certified safety equipment, injuries cannot be prevented completely.

3. I/We agree to absolve, indemnify and hold harmless WCSA, organizers, sponsors, person(s) providing transportation to and from activities or any volunteers from any claim arising out of any injury to the player whether the result of negligence or any other cause.

4. I/We agree to provide all equipment necessary to allow child to participate in the sports activity. If equipment is needed, Godbey may provide equipment for use during the season of play. I understand that all equipment loaned out during a season must be returned at the end of the season to the appropriate WCSA board member.

5. I/We agree to provide a valid birth certificate to a coach or WCSA if requested. I understand this is required to appropriately validate the DOB for the player only.
