Welcome to the official Sunshine Coast Open 2026 sign-up JotForm! Please choose which competition/s you are wishing to enter.

Once selected you will be sent a confirmation email.

Please make sure to fill in all fields accurately as this data will be used for fixtures and formatting for all tournaments on the day.

Event Day: Please arrive 30 mins before your tournament starts.

Location & GameDay Information:

Merridan State College | 214 Parklands Blvd, Meridan Plains
On arrival (Administration) you will be shown where to go by a Merridan State College staff member.

Arrival Time: Please arrive to sign in by 8:30am

Controllers: We do not supply controllers for any players wishing to use controllers for Rocket League so this is BYO. Please make sure all players are advised about this. If students do not have controllers, we do have a limited amount of xbox controllers to supply.

Accounts

All accounts used on the day are Queensland Esports owned and monitored.

Media Release Forms

All schools will be sent a media release form to sign.

School Buses & Parking

School bus and parking is available on grounds

No Student Phone Policy

Students will not be allowed the use of their phones during competition play or within the competition zones.

Further rules and guidance will be given on arrival.

Team Information

Please enter all team information to the tournaments you are participating in, including first and last names or gamertags. This is so we can identify who is playing in your team when your school arrives at the event sign in desk. This is also for tournament scheduling. No player names or information will be displayed online (strictly fixtures and formatting purposes). If you wish to enter Player A & Player B that is also acceptable.
Minecraft CTF Team Student Information | 5 Players per team | You can enter a maximum of 2 teams. Please enter in gamertags as well as their experience in the game. Advance, Intermediate or Beginner.
Rocket League 2v2 | You can enter in a maximum of 2 teams. Please enter in gamertags as well as their experience in the game. Advance, Intermediate or Beginner.
Chess.com 1v1 | You can enter up to a maximum of 4 players. Please enter in gamertags as well as their experience in the game. Advance, Intermediate or Beginner.
Valorant 2v2 (Secondary School Tournament Only) | You can enter up to a maximum of 2 teams (4 players). Please enter in gamertags as well as their experience in the game. Advance, Intermediate or Beginner.
