About the scholarship
The Greg Bright Scholarship for Excellence in Member Communications honours Greg Bright's signficant contribution to the industry and his dedication to nurturing emerging talent, especially those that strive to improve how the industry communicates with members. It was Greg's visioon to unite fund executives for collaboration and sharing that led to the founding of FEAL in 1999.
FEAL welcomes applications from emerging leaders who are working in a member engagement, member benefits, product development, administration, insurance, financial advice or education role within a FEAL member fund or organisation. Applicants should be passionate about making a tangible difference in how their fund / the industry communicates with members.
The successful applicant will attend the Emerging Leaders Program at Melbourne Business School (MBS). This 5-day residential program provides the opportunity to study with a group of peers from across the industry and includes sessions on leadership, innovation & change, people management, strategy, marketing, finance, project management and navigating uncertain futures, taught by some of MBS's senior faculty. The scholarship winner will also have the opportunity to speak about member communications at a FEAL event.
In responding to each of the application questions, applicants are encouraged to clearly articulate the way in which they will benefit from the opportunity. Applications must be accompanied by a reference or endorsement from the individual who the applicant reports to.
Every effort is made to preserve the integrity and rigour of the scholarship selection process. Further information about this process can be obtained at www.feal.asn.au.
