Mulitplying Disciples

Welcome to District Conference 2025! This year Conference will be held at Axis Church, Cnr Discovery Drive & Gardenia Parade, Northlakes, from Thursday 2 - Friday 3 October.

As we come together for our 42nd annual South Queensland District Conference, we are excited to learn more about what it means to "Multiply Disciples". Our national Heartbeat Statement reads "We celebrate every time a disciple makes a disciple, and a church multiplies itself, until the transforming presence of Jesus Christ impacts every community throughout Australia". Our keynote speaker, Tim O'Neill will lead us through a series of studies on how we as a movement can effectively "Multiply Disciples".

We look forward to celebrating with a number of our licenced ministers who are being ordained and some of our ordained ministers whose ministry credentials in other denominations will be officially transferred to The Wesleyan Methodist Church. Congratulations to you all.

There will be no creche, children's or youth programs offered this year, to allow the Children's and Youth ministry directors to participate in the Conference. Axis Church has a parents' room with livestream audio and video available.

All attendance and voting will be conducted electronically. A user guide will be made available closer to the date. Please bring your charged smart device (phone, tablet or laptop) with data and wifi enabled. There will be a charging station available (for free!) You will need to bring your own cable and charger.
