Participation Guidelines and Disclaimers
Eligibility
Open to all Active Permian Basin SHRM Members and Student Members over 18 years of age. Void where prohibited.
Committee and Board members wishing to participate will be removed from the judging panel.
Submission Guidelines
Each participant can submit up to one design.
Designs must be original and not infringe on any copyrights.
Submissions should be in high-resolution PNG or JPEG format (minimum 300 DPI),with a vector file included if possible.
The designed should be limited to 3 primary colors and should be able to be used in black and white.
Include a brief description (100-200 words) explaining the concept and inspiration behind the design.
Design Specifications
The logo should be versatile and scalable, suitable for various sizes and formats.
The design should be simple, memorable, and reflect the values of a Human Resources professional.
Submission Process
Entries will be accepted between June 25, 2025 and July 30th, 2025.
All information requested is required.
Judging Criteria
Creativity: Originality and uniqueness of the design.
Relevance: How well the design represents the diversity of businesses in our area.
Versatility: The logo's adaptability across different mediums and sizes.
Aesthetics: Visual appeal and overall design quality.
Judging Process
A panel of judges composed of board members and/or sponsors will review all submissions. Judging will be conducted anonymously to ensure fairness.
The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
Prizes
Winner: Ticket to 2025 PBSHRM Conference and Expo (not redeemable for cash value
Intellectual Property
By submitting a design, participants agree to transfer all intellectual property rights of the winning design to Permian Basin SHRM. Permian Basin SHRM reserves the right to modify the winning design as necessary.
Announcement of Winners
Winners will be announced on September 25th, 2025, via PBSHRM’s website and social media channels and unveiled at the 2025 Conference's closing session.
Winners will be notified via email and may be required to participate in promotional activities.
The winner consents to their name and picture being used for advertising and promotional purposes without future compensation. A separate media release may be required.
General Conditions
Permian Basin SHRM reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with the contest rules.
Permian Basin SHRM is not responsible for any technical issues or lost submissions.
Participation in the contest constitutes acceptance of these rules and the judges' decisions.
