    In order to check the reverse lights, one person will need to be outside the rear of the vehicle to observe the white lights.
    The person doing the inspection should perform the following;
    - Press and HOLD the brake pedal down firmly throughtout the entire check.
    - Shift into Reverse gear while still holding the brake pedal down.
    - When the outside observer lets you know the status of the reverse lights, you may shift back into park, and release the breke pedal.
    The check of the other exterior lights is easier and quicker to do with two persons, but can be accomplished safely with just one.
