Virtus Health nurses need your support!

After 10 months of negotiations, management at Virtus Health clinics in Queensland are still refusing to deliver fair wages for their hard-working nurses.

Worse still, since 2021 Virtus Health nurses have suffered a real pay cut of more than 8 percent as a direct result of unfair wages from a company owned by a $6.8 billion private equity firm.

This is why nurses have made the difficult decision to engage in protected industrial action – to stand up for a fair deal.

As we move forward with these actions, we want you to know patients and clients will remain our top priority.

Our values have not changed; our care has not changed but the cost of living has.
