This form serves solely as an expression of interest for youth and adult merchandise vendors. Submission does not guarantee placement at City Center or LeBauer Park.

Once you have received confirmation from the Programs office, you will receive a separate form to complete your booking and submit final payment.

Bookings are not final until booking contract and vendor fee is paid and received by Greensboro Downtown Parks, INC. Payment MUST be completed before the event date.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

Greensboro Downtown Parks, Inc. requires that any vendor under the age of 18 be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times during contracted hours.
The organization does not assume responsibility for supervising underage vendors and will not monitor their activities.
It is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian to ensure the minor’s compliance with all park rules and vendor guidelines .

Cancellation Policy: Markets are rain or shine and are nonrefundable. If GDPI cancels an event for any reason vendors will receive a booking credit for the missed event. (Booking credits are good for 1 year.) If a vendor cannot attend a vendor market for any reason, GDPI admin staff must be notified via email. Failure to notify GDPI Admin staff will result in being considered a No Show. No Shows will not be allowed to participate in events for the remainder of the year. GDPI does not transfer payments from one market to another.
Vendor Space: Vendors are limited to one 10ft x 10ft booth space. Vendor space allows for a 10ft x 10ft easy up tent. Vendors are responsible for supplying tents, tables and displays. Vendors must also ensure that their tents are secured in case of wind. Staking in the ground is not allowed. Vendors must bring weights to hold tents in place. Vendors with electricity must supply their own extension cords and power strips. Vendors are responsible for their own booth security. GDPI is not responsible for theft or damage.
Electricity and Wifi: Vendors should be prepared to provide their own electricity and wifi. Electricity is available but limited. Booths may not use items that use an exorbitant amount of power such as crock pots and fans. There is no wifi at the parks, please plan accordingly.
Arrival/Departure: Vendor is responsible for loading in/out and setting up/ breaking down all items. There are a limited number of wagons available for use with load-in and load-out. Vendors must be in attendance of the entire market. Vendors may not break down early or arrive late.
Parking: Vendors are responsible for their own set up and must be prepared to transport their supplies to the vending space. Parking is not provided and will be limited the later you arrive. Unloading is not permitted on Davie Street. Any vehicles parked illegally and/or blocking the flow of traffic will be towed at the owner's expense.

CONSENT TO PHOTOGRAPH/ VIDEOTAPE/ INTERVIEW INDIVIDUALS

I hereby agree and give my permission for GDPI, and/or partners to record, film, photograph, audiotape or videotape myself (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Works”) and to display, publish or distribute these Works for the purpose of publishing, posting on the GDPI website and posting on social media sites. I hereby waive any right to approve the use of these Works now or in the future, whether the use is known to me or unknown, and I waive any right to any royalties related to the use of these Works. I understand that the Works may appear in electronic form on the internet or in other publications outside of GDPI's control. I agree that I will not hold the GDPI responsible for any harm that may arise from such unauthorized reproduction.

LIABILITY WAIVER

The Vendor hereby agrees, on behalf of the Vendor and the Vendor's employees, agents, volunteers, or any other individual associated or to be associated with the production and execution of the Program/Event, to waive and relinquish any and all claims that may result in any manner against GDPI, the City of Greensboro, and their respective agents, officers, officials, employees and authorized volunteers, except for acts or matters arising due to the willful and wanton misconduct of GDPI and the City of Greensboro

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

The Vendor hereby agrees, on behalf of the Vendor and the Vendor’s employees, agents, volunteers, or any other individual associated or to be associated with the production and execution of the Program/Event, to indemnify and hold harmless GDPI, the City of Greensboro and their respective agents, officers, officials, employees and authorized volunteers, from and against any and all legal actions, claims, damages, losses or expenses arising out of or related to the production and execution of the Program/Event, including but not limited to, claims for personal or bodily injury, disease or death, injury to or destruction of property and violation of Intellectual Property rights, except to the extent caused by the negligence or intentional misconduct of the party seeking indemnity. The Vendor further agrees to indemnify GDPI, the City of Greensboro, and any of their respective agents, officers, officials, employees and authorized volunteers for all attorneys' fees and court costs incurred or to be incurred in defending any action brought against GDPI and the City of Greensboro as a result of the production and Execution of the Program/Event.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & AGREEMENT

By submitting this application I attest to have read and agreed to all terms, conditions, and rules set forth in these guidelines.

I understand that GDPI reserves the right to terminate any vendor’s participation for failure to adhere to the terms, conditions, and rules set forth in these guidelines.

I understand that GDPI is not responsible for marketing any external business partner, and promotion of a vendor’s participation is the responsibility of the vendor.

I understand that the park is a non-profit and does not pay taxes on anything vendors sell, and this is, therefore, the responsibility of all vendors. I will also bring and display a copy of my Tax ID or SS.

I understand that I must comply with all federal, state, and local health and fire regulations.
