Louisiana Blvd Safety Audits Registration
  • Louisiana Blvd Safety Audits Registration

A safety audit is an assessment of a road's design, infrastructure, and conditions, focusing on how safe, comfortable, and accessible it is for people walking, biking, and using mobility devices. Some safety improvements have recently been installed on Louisiana Blvd. between Kathryn and Gibson and there are more planned.
  • Join us

Let’s walk, bike, or roll Louisiana Blvd together to audit the bike lanes and safety features that were installed this past year and discuss future plans. There will be two audit opportunities: Saturday, July 12th, 9:30am-12pm and Tuesday, July 15th, 5-7pm. We will be teaming up with staff from the Albuquerque Department of Municipal Development and learning more about the process for the Louisiana Blvd safety improvements. The audits will involve walking, biking, or using a mobility device in small groups led by a facilitator.
