🎭 Performance Guidelines:
1) The solo should have a lyrical or semi-classical / storytelling feel
2) The piece does not need to be Kathak-based
3) Music can be instrumental or lyrical
4) The solo can be a new, original piece or a previously learned choreography
5) Performances should be approximately 1 to 2 minutes long
🎟️ Selection Process: We will be selecting 5 students through a random draw from the list of applicants. All interested students are encouraged to apply! This is a great opportunity to share your unique beat on stage!
📹 Video Submission: Please submit a short clip (30-60 seconds) showcasing your dance background. This can be a performance video, practice footage, or any clip that reflects your movement style. This helps us get a better sense of your readiness and performance style.
*All submissions will be reviewed by instructors before final selections are made.
**Submissions will close on Sunday, June 22nd. The draw for the selected performers will take place on Monday, June 23rd. Selected performers will be contacted with next steps.
