Citizen Statement
I believe the use of second-generation anticoagulant rodenticides (SGARs) is a serious environmental and public health issue that must be addressed in New Hampshire.
These poisons pose a grave threat to wildlife, pets, and even children, as they can cause prolonged suffering and death and remain in the ecosystem long after use.
I ask that New Hampshire lawmakers and state agencies take action to end the use of SGARs and promote safer, more humane alternatives for rodent control.
