    1. Only those eligible to graduate or completed the program will have their application processed. Please check your Study Planner and ensure you have completed all required units in your program including MPU, Industrial Placement (EAT20008) and/or SE (whichever applicable). If you are not eligible, you will be notified via email. For this, please be responsive to our emails to avoid any miscommunication, if you fall into this category.

    2. Any oustanding fees and/or penalties with the University must be settled before submission. Failing to do so will cause your application to be rejected and no appeal will be entertained if your settlement is done after the application closing date. Check your Student Ledger in Student Portal for details.

    3. The Graduation Fee (non-refundable) includes:-

    Attending Sarawak Ceremony In Absentia
    1 copy of Testamur 1 copy of Testamur
    1 copy of Official Academic Transcript 1 copy of Official Academic Transcript
    1 copy of 8R Stage Photo 1 Testamur Cylinder / Tube
    1 set of Regalia (to be returned after ceremony)  
    2 Invitation Cards  
    1 copy of Program Booklet  
    1 Testamur Cylinder / Tube

    4. Please check your Student Portal for details accuracy i.e. Student Name, Program Name, Exemptions/Credit Transfer Courses, Grades & Marks obtained, Major/Minor/Co-major and etc.

    5. For any rectification or further enquiries, please submit through SE Servicedesk (choose the Category "Graduation").

  • Note: It takes approximately six weeks after the official publication of results for your Letter of Completion to be issued.

  • * Compulsory for those who opt for Melbourne Ceremony. Please note the following:

    1. For Undergraduates and Master (Coursework) students, a fee of RM200.00 will be charged for the Official Academic Transcript and Testamur issued by Swinburne Sarawak.
    2. The graduation fee for international students is subject to 6% SST.
    3. A separate graduation ceremony charges will be paid to Swinburne Melbourne. Please refer to this link for further details.
    4. For Master (Research) and PhD candidates, your official Academic Transcript and Testamur will be issued by Swinburne Melbourne. Payment of RM200.00 is only applicable if you are planning to collect the parchment document (Testamur) from Sarawak campus.

    You will be contacted by the respective Melbourne Graduation team for further information and arrangements.

  • Graduation Fee (Attending Ceremony), is non-refundable should there be any amendment from attending to absentia: -

    • 1 set of Regalia (to be returned after ceremony)

    • The Extra Guest Ticket(s) is limited and on first come first serve basis. Once purchased, it is NOT refundable.
    • Announcement will be made in CANVAS and refund will be done if the ticket(s) are sold out.
    • Ticket(s) are for 13 years & above only. Children with age 12 and below are strictly NOT allowed to enter the hall.

    **** Kindly bring along the payment receipt during collection.

  • PAYMENT MECHANISM:-

    • Proceed to contra off the graduation fee against the refundable deposit.
    • For any underpayment, proceed to make payment.
    • You MUST submit the Refund Request Form attach with the Withdrawal from Course Form.
    • To ease the processing of your application, please make the payment during weekday. Payment made during non working hours will be processed the following working day.
    • The graduation fee for international students is subject to 6% SST.
