Act as the official point of contact between the organization and government entities national and regional.

Build and maintain positive relationships with local authorities, associations, media, business partners

Manage and process all government-related documentation, including but not limited to:

Trade licenses, commercial registrations, and regulatory approvals.

Special needs, permit, authorisation to operate ground services.

Ensure timely submission and renewal of all required legal documents to avoid interruptions in operations.

Stay updated with new laws and regulatory changes and advise management accordingly.

Represent the company in meetings with government bodies and follow up on required actions.

Organize and maintain filing systems (physical and electronic) for all government-related documents, ensuring accurate record-keeping and data confidentiality.

Track and manage internal and external correspondence related to official government affairs.
Coordinate appointments, meetings, and follow-ups with government officials and external partners.

Maintain an up-to-date calendar of all key administrative and regulatory deadlines (e.g., license renewals, visa expirations).

Conduct periodic internal audits of government-related records to ensure completeness and readiness for official inspections or audits.

Ensure that all administrative processes and documentation are in line with local laws and company policies.

Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date employee records related to visas, permits, and work authorizations.
Ground Operations Support and communication:

Facilitate necessary governmental clearances, permits -national or regional as the need may be- and documentation for ground logistics, personnel movement, and site access.

Coordinate with ground operations to align documentation and communication processes.

Provide operational support during events, inspections, and high-traffic periods by liaising with regulatory authorities.

Assist in preparing compliance reports and audits relevant to ground activities.
-
Participate in planning sessions to ensure ground operations are supported with timely legal and administrative requirements.

Support crisis communication plans and act as the spokesperson when needed.

Coordinate internal communications related to organizational announcements or public matters.
Key Accountabilities:

Ensure that all government-related interactions are handled professionally, ethically, and in full compliance with applicable laws.

Maintain accurate and organized records of all official documents and correspondence.

Minimize risks and delays by proactively managing the lifecycle of all required licenses and permits.

Actively contribute to the smooth functioning of ground operations through government liaison and logistical support.

Build and sustain strong relationships with relevant government departments to facilitate ongoing cooperation and responsiveness.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, Public Relations or related fields.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in public/government relations, preferably within a regulatory or operational setting.
Strong knowledge and understanding of local regulations and laws, labour, immigration rules, regulatory compliance, emirates / governate specific laws and regulations.
Knowledgeable of Tourism & hospitality is a distinctive advantage
Languages: proficient in Arabic and English both written and spoken.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
