Why do we ask this? A play that a school attends as part of the school curriculum, e.g. the school attends a performance of Hamlet whilst studying the play. If yes, we will only fund tickets for Pupil Premium students (or equivalent). See relevant section of the Important Information and Conditions. NB: We do not want PP students singled out as receiving discounted tickets.

From time to time we have special rate tickets for selected performances of The Lion King (Lyceum Theatre, London). Please refer to the specific promotion you've received for any terms and conditions, specific performance dates and the special rate ticket price. T&Cs apply.

We have an ongoing partnership with Wicked (Apollo Victoria Theatre, London) tickets, you can apply for 50 free tickets per school application, any tickets requested above this are £19.50 each, which you can request below as part of your grant application under ticket costs. Schools can apply for a maximum of 50 additional tickets. Find full details on our website. T&Cs apply.

We have a £10,000 grant thanks to one of our donors, to support applications for productions at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre, London. Schools can apply for a grant for tickets and travel of up to £2500 for theatre trips to The Globe only, all other theatre trips have a maximum grant of £2000.

Performances are subject to ticket availability, if your grant is approved, we cannot guarantee the performance date will be be the same as the intial requested date due to the popularity of these productions. In this instance, alternative performance dates will be discussed. Please do not book any transport ahead of your grant or performance date being confirmed.
