If you are submitting only one of your titles at this time, you will receive an email with an edit link after selecting Submit. This link will allow you to update your submission with your second title as needed. You may also submit your imprint's second title through a new form.

To be eligible for the prize, each submission must be endorsed by the author(s) who worked with the nominated editor on the book.

The endorsement is confidential. While you may inform the author of your intention to nominate the editor, the author’s decision to endorse—or not—will be known only to Writers' Trust of Canada.

Please provide the email address of the author below. Once your submission is received, the author will be sent instructions to complete the endorsement process. The endorsement letter (approximately one page) is due within 30 days of the submission date of this form. Authors are informed that should they choose, they may consult/collaborate with the editor to complete the author endorsement letter.

For co-authored books, submit one email address only. The email sent to the author will include instructions indicating that the endorsement must be confirmed by both authors for the nomination to be valid.

Writers' Trust staff will follow up with reminders to authors as endorsement letter due dates approach and will be available to answer any questions.
