This year's theme is Built to Last – Create a Business That Stands Strong. We're talking about creating businesses with solid foundations, the kind that can weather uncertainty and keep growing even when things get bumpy. We want speakers who get it and can help our attendees build something sustainable.
What We Want to Hear:
Sessions that are:
- Practical over theoretical – Give people something they can implement next week
- Interactive and conversational – Talk with the audience, not at them
- Grounded in reality – Real experiences, honest lessons, actual results
- Universally applicable – Relevant to all business types, not industry-specific
- Action-focused – Specific steps and tools, not inspirational fluff
Topics that fit this year's theme:
- Building Systems That Actually Work (and Save Your Sanity)
- Cash Flow Fundamentals: Managing Money Through Lean Times
- Relationships as Revenue: Why Your Network Is Your Net Worth
- The Art of Sustainable Growth: Scaling Without Burnout
- Creating Processes That Outlast You
- Economic Uncertainty? Here's Your Survival Toolkit
- Strong Foundations: The Business Basics That Never Go Out of Style
- From Hustle to Stability: Building a Business You Can Count On
- Customer Retention Strategies That Stand the Test of Time
Got a different angle that fits? Perfect. Pitch it to us.
What We're NOT Looking For (Let's be clear about what doesn't work):
- Sales pitches disguised as presentations
- Your business origin story (unless it includes specific, replicable strategies)
- Your career biography or why you chose your path
- Industry-specific content that only applies to one type of business
- Keynote-style inspiration without educational substance
- Long speaker introductions that eat into session time
- One-way lectures with no audience interaction
Speaker & Activity Leader Details:
- Audience: Approximately 75 women small business owners
- Session Length: 45 minutes (educational sessions), 10 minutes (stretch break), or 30 minutes (networking activity) – all including any setup time
- Available Slots: Four educational sessions
- Application Deadline: May 5, 2026 (feel free to submit multiple proposals)
- Notification: June 2026
What You Get:
- Free ticket to the full event
- Vendor table to showcase your business
- Promotion across our event marketing, social media, and communications
