    • GATHER THE HEAD COACH & MANAGER CONTACT INFO BEFORE YOU START THE FORM.
    • GATHER HCR ID NUMBERS FROM ALL ROSTERED OFFICIALS BEFORE YOU START THE FORM.  THEY CAN FIND THIS BY LOGGING INTO THEIR SPORDLE ACOUNTS.
    • If the person is an HCR-rostered team official (Coach - any type, Manager, HCSP, OIH), all criteria met before they will be added to the roster.
    • ONLY HCR-rostered team officials who are FULLY compliant with basic certs (CRC, RISAL & CATT) AND signed HC waivers will be rostered. NO EXCEPTIONS.

  • A NOTE REGARDING ON-ICE HELPERS ON TEAMS

    WHAT IS AN ON-ICE HELPER?  An OIH is a person (usually a parent, but can be a non-parent) who assists the coaching staff on the ice during a practice, and ONLY during practices.  They cannot go on the bench during a game.

    BY CLICKING PAST THIS PAGE, YOU HAVE BEEN MADE EXPLICITLY AWARE THAT:

     

    • ON-ICE HELPERS ARE HCR-ROSTERED TEAM OFFICIALS EVEN THOUGH THEY CANNOT GO ON THE BENCH DURING GAMES. 
       
    • ON-ICE HELPERS MUST BE CERTIFIED WITH A CURRENT CRIMINAL RECORD CHECK AND RESPECT IN SPORT FOR ACTIVITY LEADERS AND, FOR THE REGULAR SEASON, ROSTERED TO THE TEAM IN THE HCR.
       
    • FAILURE TO BE ROSTERED IN THE HCR AS AN ON-ICE HELPER DURING THE REGULAR SEASON MEANS THAT THEY WILL NOT RECEIVE ASSOCIATION VOLUNTEERING CREDIT, EVEN IF THEY WERE HELPING THE TEAM ALL SEASON ON THE ICE DURING PRACTICES. 

     

    • CMHA WILL CHARGE THE TEAM $65 PER OIH TO COVER THE COST THAT CMHA IS CHARGED BY BC HOCKEY.

     

    IF YOU HAVE PARENTS ON YOUR TEAM WHO PLAN TO VOLUNTEER AS AN ON-ICE HELPER, PLEASE ENSURE THEY ARE LISTED ON THE NEXT PAGE SO YOUR TEAM IS COMPLYING WITH REQUIREMENTS.
