The FNAMA $2,500 Scholarship supports underrepresented students who are socially and economically disadvantaged and achieved outstanding academic success, as well as demonstrated involvement in their community or the workplace.
Those eligible to apply for the scholarships must have finished their secondary education (12th grade/HiSet); reside and/or practice in Massachusetts; be enrolled full-time or part-time in an LPN certificate, undergraduate or graduate program which must be accredited by NLN-AC or CCNE and approved by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing; not have been a recipient of an FNAMA Scholarship or ANAMASS Award in the previous two years.
Payments are made by check and mailed directly to the college or university of attendance. This scholarship is both need- and merit-based; preference will be given to those who provide either a copy of Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Student Aid Report (SAR) including Student Aid Index (SAI) and/or evidence of Annual Gross Income via tax return.
There are two scholarships available; preference for one scholarship will be to LPN/ADN preparation. FNAMA encourages applications from individuals of diverse backgrounds and experiences, in alignment with our commitment to equity and inclusion in nursing.
