  • Rainbow Books for Schools

  • Welcome to Rainbow Books for Schools. We are a group of parents of some pretty cool kids, and we know that there are good folk like yourselves out there that are keen to support rainbow kids (and their allies) to access some great books that showcase diversity. Every kid deserves to feel seen, and we are here to help you make that happen. 

  • How it works

  • We have worked with an independent book store to put together some amazing book bundles. You choose a bundle that appeals, and choose a school that you want it sent to. We will contact the school to let them know, and send out your chosen bundle (with or without a note from you!). It generally will take around 10 days for your chosen school to receive their books, but you can opt in to get tracking updates. If you don't want to buy a whole book bundle, you can donate towards another bundle - and every time we have enough for a bundle we will send it out.

  • Destination school

  • Write the name of the school (and the town or city) that you would like to donate the book bundle to, and add a second preference if you wish.

    We will contact the school and check that they are happy to receive the donation. If we are unable to get a response from either of your choices, we will donate them to the nearest school who has indicated interest.

    Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter your contact details, we'll still send your book bundle, along with a message for the school if you have sent one. You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong.
