2025 Symposium PhotoVoice

Over the last 6 years, PhotoVoice has become an integral part of the way ACIC gathers and shares stories that center youth voices.

PhotoVoice is an action-based research, facilitation, and evaluation tool. Participant-driven photography and inquiry are used to identify and represent community strengths and concerns. As an emergent process, diverse perspectives are engaged in critical dialogue to generate action-oriented solutions to shared issues, including advocacy with policy makers (more info about PhotoVoice here).

As part of the ACIC Symposium, we would love to engage YOU in the beauty of the PhotoVoice process.

During our time together we invite you to take a photo that reflects your learning/experience at the ACIC Symposium! We will gather images, and descriptions, if included, to create a PhotoVoice gallery, that will reflect our collective learnings.
