  • Te Hononga Māori Rugby League presents our first-ever Te Herenga Waka Tournament and you're invited.

    We're extending the wero to our Māori rangatahi across Australia and Aotearoa to come together for a powerful weekend of footy, culture, and connection.

    This kaupapa is about more than sport it's about kotahitanga, whakapapa, and creating space for our rangatahi to thrive both on and off the field.

  • MĀORI DESCENT DECLARATION As part of this kaupapa, players must have Māori whakapapa. This may be through either your/ individuals mama or papa. Please indicate you understand and agree.*
  • FINANCIAL CONSENT I understand that being part of this kaupapa requires a financial contribution and a commitment to attend as a team or individual. Fees will be released once registrations are open*
  • MEDIA CONSENT I give permission for Te Hononga Māori Rugby League to take and use photos, videos, or recordings of me/my child/team for promotion (e.g. social media, website, news, print). I understand this content may be shared publicly and no payment will be made.*

  • TE HONONGA MĀORI RUGBY LEAGUE – PARTICIPATION WAIVER

    By signing this form, I confirm that my child and or team of individual players, is in good physical health and able to safely participate in all activities run by Te Hononga Māori Rugby League.

    I have informed the organisers of any relevant health conditions or concerns that could affect safety during training, games, or related events.

    I understand that, like any physical sport, there is a chance of injury. I accept this risk and agree that Te Hononga Māori Rugby League is not liable for any injury, loss, or costs that may arise. This includes any medical treatment or specialist care not covered by Medicare.

    In the event of an emergency, I give permission for the Te Hononga Committee or coaching team to arrange immediate medical help if needed.

    I acknowledge it is my responsibility to manage any medical expenses, and I am aware that having Private Health Insurance is strongly recommended.
