    FAQs:

    Do I need to join to attend services? 
    No. You can come to services without being a member, subject to security clerance. Contact us at info@sephardi.org.uk if you would like to come to services as a visitor and we'll let you know what we require from you. Please state which of our synagogues you would like to visit.

    Do I need to come as a visitor before joining?
    No, but it is recommended that you attend services on a few occasions before applying for membership.

    How much does membership cost?
    We have a number of membership rates depending on whether you are single or in a family. There are also discounts for younger members. It is recomended that you contact the office before you start the application process. 

    Are children included?
    Children up to the age of 19 are included for free in their parents membership. After their 19th birthday they must apply for membership in their own right. Discounted membership rate are available until the age of 33.

    Does membership include burial rights?
    No, membership of 'Hebra', our burial scheme, is not included in membership, but members receive a large discount on these Hebra fees. Hebra burial scheme is also available after joining.

    What is the process for membership?

    1. Complete this form

    2. We will acknowledge receipt within 14 working days and might ask for additional documentation

    3. Application goes to the Beth Din to sign off

    4. Application then goes to the S&P Board of Trustees to sign off

    5. We will let you know when your application is approved.

    6. You will receive a welcome pack with your first 'Finta' (membership fees) bill. Membership does not take effect until the Finta is paid.
