Group Therapy Contract & Policies
Moving Forward, PLC
The following policies are designated to ensure a supportive stable network and group environment.
- This will be an ongoing group, meaning there is no set end date. We ask that you make, at minimum, a twelve (12) session commitment when your child joins the group. This ensures that there is enough consistency for group members to build meaningful connections with one another.
- If your child is going to be late, call 571-483-0306 and leave a message and please email your child's designated group leader: Mary Cole - marycole@movingforwardplc.com or Lauren Fuller - lfuller@movingforwardplc.com.
- Group therapy fees are $110 per week and will need to be paid at each session (charged the next business day Neither credit nor refunds will be given if sessions are missed.
Attendance:
During the group sessions, you will be allowed two missed sessions due to illness or scheduling conflict. We reserve the right to charge a full fee for sessions that are missed after that. Missed appointment fees are not reimbursed by insurance plans and are your financial responsibility. If a child's attendance is irregular enough that therapy is not of benefit, the therapist may ask for a conference with the parent. Should it be necessary for a therapist to cancel a session, she will contact group participants to notify of the cancellation or another therapist of equal qualifications may substitute. If a member tests positive for Covid or is directly exposed to someone who tests positive, their absence will not be counted against their two allowed absences for the year.

Children and/or their families should not attend Moving Forward therapy groups with any of the following symptoms. Please notify group leaders prior to the start of a session should your child become too ill to attend.
