INFORMATION LISTED BELOW IS PREVIOUSLY PUBLISHED INFORMATION - PLEASE REFER TO INFORMATION AT TOP OF PAGE FOR CURRENT INFO!
1. Market Day will be Saturday, December 13, 2025 from 10am-4pm.
2. Movein will begin at 6am. Market Day will take place at the shaded campground (weather permitting). No vendor vehicles will be allowed to park at booths. You will be allowed to unload at your vending space, but Market area must be cleared of vehicles by 9:30am
*** The rain location for Market Day will be inside the Ditto Landing Dry Storage Building ***
3. No vehicle is allowed to move in the campground during show hours (with the exception of Ditto Landing staff vehicles). The campground must remain free of vehicles from 930am until 4pm. the Holiday Markt will be open to patrons from 10am until 4pm on Saturday, December 13.
4. Vendor moveout will be from 4pm until 6pm on December 13. Christmas Card Lane will reopen at 6pm to patrons. Any vehicle that is still in the Market area at 6pm must remain unmoved until Christmas Card Lane closes at 9pm.
5. The show staff reserves the right to prohibit any merchandise which is questionable in nature. Edible items may only be sold by Market Vendors if they are packaged & intended to be consumed off premises Please verify acceptability with show staff prior to registration.
6. Requests for vending spaces equipped with an electrical outlet are LIMITED AND MUST BE RESERVED AND PAID FOR IN ADVANCE. Electrical load cannot exceed 110 volts, 15 amps without prior permission of the Market electrician. Extension cords or power strips are the responsibility of the Vendor. Misuse or overload of electrical circuit will result in immediate disconnection and forfeiture of outlet rental fee.
7. Vendors must provide their own tent and furnishings (including table(s), chair(s), and display equipment). TENT MUST BE ANCHORED ON ALL POSTS. VENDOR IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN TENT, FURNISHINGS, AND MERCHANDISE BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER EVENT. Huntsville-Madison County Marina & Port Authority, Ditto Landing, Christmas on the River and any representatives thereof assume absolutely no responsibility for any damage to or damage caused by vendor merchandise, vendor vehicles, or vendor merchandise.
8. All transactions between the Vendor and customer are the responsibility of the Vendor. Vendors must have their own change funds. The customer has the right to request and receive a receipt. The collection and remittance of Alabama, Madison County, and City of Huntsville Sales Tax is the responsibility of each exhibitor.
9. Vending spaces must be set by show opening and staffed by individuals over the age of 18 until show close. All participants must follow the load-in and load-out schedules stated in the confirmation letter.
10. All Vendors are required to sign the registration form releasing Ditto Landing from responsibility for damage or theft.
11. No animals may be sold at Market Day. We are pet-friendly, but pets must be on a leash and all actions of each pet are the responsibility of its owner.
12. There will be no refunds, and booths are not transferable.
13. Registration form must be completed in their entirety, and all deadlines as set forth in the cover letter must be met in order to be considered as a Vendor.
14. All merchandise and display equipment must fit WITHIN the marked vending space. There will be no storage area supplied. Vendors must ensure there are no disruptions emitting from their booth. Vendors ARE NOT ALLOWED to block the greenway or any Christmas Cards by sitting outside of their booth space, please plan your layout accordingly knowing you need to sit/stand within your space.
15. Open Flame Policy- open flames are subject to inspection. You must have a fire extinguisher. Flames must be on or contained in non-flammable containers and bases. Displays must receive flame retardant certification.
16. Misuse/abuse of Ditto Landing, its staff, or any of its equipment will be grounds for immediate dismissal.
17. Rules are subject to change. Continued participation of the Vendor is at the discretion of the Ditto Landing or Christmas on the River staff.
18. Vendor shall protect, maintain, save and hold harmless Huntsville-Madison County Marina & Port Authority, Ditto Landing, Christmas on the River, its officers, agents, servants and employees from and against any and all claims, demands, expense and liabilities arising out of injury or death to any person, or the damage, loss or destruction of any property which may occur in or about the venue (including any portion thereof which vendor has not been given the right to occupy or use pursuant to the terms of this Agreement) or which may arise or in any way grow out of any act or omission of vendor, its agents, invitees and patrons’ use and occupancy of venue.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW ANY OF THE ABOVE RULES/REGULATIONS WILL RESULT IN DISMISSAL AND WILL FORFEIT FUTURE PARTICIPATION.
