2025/2026 Assessment/Tryout Form

Please note: There is a $15.00 non-refundable assessment fee.

We appreciate that swimmers are eager for their results at the conclusion of the assessment. Results will be emailed within 72 hours following the assessment.

All Assessments will take place at the pools listed below.

Placement offers will be made following each tryout date. As such, there may be more opportunity by attending an earlier tryout.

I confirm that my swimmer meets the following minimum requirements to attend the assessment:

Swimmer must be a minimum of 5 years old as of September 1, 2025.
Swimmer must be independent and take part in practice without a parent
Comfortable in deep water
Must be able to float on front with head down and face in the water for 5 seconds
Must be able to float on back for 5 seconds.
Must be able to kick 10m on front and back starting in a floating position.
Must be able to jump into deep water unassisted.

GHAC welcomes all swimmers to tryout for the team, however the club has limited availability for each group. Attendance at this assessment does not guarantee a position on the team.*

Upon completion of this form please be sure to arrive at the pool at least 10 minutes prior to the start of the assessment that you selected above. Swimmer must have a swim suit, cap and goggles.
