Nikah Registration Form

Terms & Conditions:

No nikah will be performed where any party is under 18 years of age.
We only conduct Nikah for muslim couples. If either of them are non-muslim, the Shahadah ceremony will need to take place before the Nikah.
The nikah application form must be completed and all information/ documents required should be included when returning the form or else the application will not be processed.
In case of talaaq the following evidence is required:
For bridegroom: letter stating talaq has been given and Civil Divorced Certificate (Decree Absolute of Divorce) if applicable.
For bride: letter from previous husband or a fatwa from a reputable recognised mufti and Civil Divorced Certificate (Decree Absolute of Divorce) if applicable.
The nikah committee’s approval is required before any nikah takes place, and their decision is final.
A non-refundable deposit of £100 is payable at the time of booking. In event of a cancellation, the deposit will be donated towards the masjid.
The committee reserves the right to refuse to allow any nikah to take place if it has reasonable cause to suspect false information has been provided on the application form and/or false documents have been provided with the application. Similarly, any other reason which the committee may consider to be acceptable - reason does not need to be disclosed.
The wakeel should take consent from the bride in the presence of two witnesses any time before the nikah.
The wakeel and both witnesses must all be present in the nikah.
The witnesses must be male and at least 18 years old.
Photography/videography is only permitted with prior consent from the committee
We don't offer caterign services. However the hall can be hired for floor seating provided you arrange your own catering.
We can arrange segregation between male and female guests.
PLEASE INFORM US OF ANY CHANGES AT LEAST 5 DAYS BEFORE THE DAY OF NIKAH.

For ID documents we require the following documents from both, bride and bridegroom:

- Photo ID (such as Passport, identity card, Driving Licence)

- Proof of address (Such as utility bill, tenancy agreement etc)

- For divorcees, we need a copy of the divorce certificate or;

- In the case of Khula; Certificate of termination of marriage from a Shariah court.
