Recreation Center Code of Conduct
To help maintain a safe, clean, and family-friendly environment, all guests are expected to follow these rules:
1. Respect Others and the Facility
Treat fellow guests, staff, and the facility with courtesy and respect. Harassment, intimidation, unwanted physical contact, abusive language, or threatening behavior will not be tolerated.
2. Use Equipment Safely
Use all equipment as intended and follow posted instructions or staff guidance to ensure safety.
3. Report Hazards or Injuries
Immediately report any injuries, unsafe conditions, or damaged equipment to staff.
4. Youth Supervision & Waivers
Youth ages 11 and up may use the facility unsupervised during designated youth programs.
Children 10 and under must be accompanied by someone age 16 or older.
All youth under 18 must have a parent or guardian-signed waiver on file.
5. Footwear Policy
Clean, non-marking athletic shoes are required in gymnasiums, courts, fitness areas, and activity rooms.
No cleats, spikes, or turf shoes are allowed inside the facility, as they pose safety risks and damage flooring.
6. No Smoking or Vaping
Smoking, vaping, or use of e-cigarettes is strictly prohibited anywhere in the facility.
7. Food & Drink Policy
Only water is permitted in gym areas. Please keep all other food and beverages in designated areas.
