    Pre-payment for the lesson program is required upon registration. Full payment is required upfront and can be sent by e-transfer to hiddenhillsstables@gmail.com. No refunds and non-transferable. Other payment options available, if needed.
  • Cancellation Policy

    Lessons cancelled by registered rider cannot be made up unless there is proof of an emergency. Lessons are non refundable and non-transferable. Lessons that are cancelled by instructor will be rescheduled to a Sunday of the instructor's choosing. There will not be another makeup date offered should the rider miss the rescheduled lesson date.
  • Mandatory Introductory Lessons

    New riders to Hidden Hills Stables will need to book an introductory lesson where rider/parent visit the facility, meet the horses and learn how to handle, groom and tack up their horse and will cover any other before/after lesson duties/responsibilities. Cost $50.00.

  • Lesson Requirements and Responsibilities

    Requirements 1. Lesson fees are due at time of registration.2. Lessons will be cancelled/rescheduled at instructor’s discretion. Lessons are non-refundable andnon-transferable.3. Makeup lessons will take place on Sunday.4. You are responsible for the cost of your lesson, whether or not you attend. Missedlessons will not be made up unless there is proof of an emergency or medical note.5. Lessons may not always involve riding. Lessons may include learning about horsetack, horse anatomy, horse health and other horse related topics. 6. Should there be inclement weather on lesson nights, the instructor will make the decision to eithercancel and reschedule the lesson or run the lesson indoors.7. Our program not only wishes to produce a great rider but an overall knowledgeable horse person with an understanding of all other aspects to horses. As a result, some of the riding lessons will be theory based. Although, we will do our best to limit to two theory lessons per session. Lesson Responsibilities1. Riders are responsible for the horse assigned to them. Responsibilities include proper grooming, tackingup, proper cool down, hosing off etc. Please check tack room whiteboard for instructions or askinstructor for clarification if needed.2. Riders are responsible for the tack used. At instructor’s discretion, rider may be asked to clean tack afterlessons. Riders can follow tack cleaning instructions in tack room. All tack and brushes need to be putaway properly after use.3. Riders are expected to sweep and clean up their area whether stall or crosstie area is used.4. Riders are expected to arrive at lessons at least 30 minutes prior to start time and stay for at least 30minutes after lesson ends.5. Parents/Guardians are strongly encouraged to take an active role to aid younger children in theirresponsibilities and duties.
