Makeup lessons will take place on Sunday.4. You are responsible for the cost of your lesson, whether or not you attend. Missedlessons will not be made up unless there is proof of an emergency or medical note.5. Lessons may not always involve riding. Lessons may include learning about horsetack, horse anatomy, horse health and other horse related topics. 6. Should there be inclement weather on lesson nights, the instructor will make the decision to eithercancel and reschedule the lesson or run the lesson indoors.7. Our program not only wishes to produce a great rider but an overall knowledgeable horse person with an understanding of all other aspects to horses. As a result, some of the riding lessons will be theory based. Although, we will do our best to limit to two theory lessons per session. Lesson Responsibilities1. Riders are responsible for the horse assigned to them. Responsibilities include proper grooming, tackingup, proper cool down, hosing off etc. Please check tack room whiteboard for instructions or askinstructor for clarification if needed.2. Riders are responsible for the tack used. At instructor’s discretion, rider may be asked to clean tack afterlessons. Riders can follow tack cleaning instructions in tack room. All tack and brushes need to be putaway properly after use.3. Riders are expected to sweep and clean up their area whether stall or crosstie area is used.4. Riders are expected to arrive at lessons at least 30 minutes prior to start time and stay for at least 30minutes after lesson ends.5. Parents/Guardians are strongly encouraged to take an active role to aid younger children in theirresponsibilities and duties.
