    Streetlifting Australia (SLA) is the governing body of Streetlifting in Australia. By volunteering or competing at a Streetlifting competition, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read these carefully. Ticking the box on the registration form indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions and serves as a binding agreement and liability waiver.
  • 1.  Eligibility

    1.1. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age or have written consent from a parent or legal guardian if under 18. 1.2. Volunteers must complete the registration or check-in process as directed by SLA or event organizers. 1.3. Volunteers must comply with all instructions from SLA staff, officials, and event organizers.
  • 2. Code of Conduct

    2.1. Volunteers must demonstrate professionalism, good sportsmanship, and respect towards athletes, spectators, judges, officials, and fellow volunteers. 2.2. Any behavior deemed unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate may result in removal from the event. 2.3. Streetlifting Australia reserves the right to end a volunteer’s participation at any time for safety or behavioral reasons.
  • 3. Health and Safety

    3.1. Volunteers confirm they are physically able to perform assigned tasks and do not have medical conditions that may endanger themselves or others. 3.2. Volunteers agree to follow all safety guidelines and instructions provided by event organizers. 3.3. Volunteers must immediately inform SLA staff if they are injured or feel unwell and, if necessary, cease further participation.
  • 4. Assumption of Risk

    4.1. Volunteers acknowledge that assisting at sporting events carries inherent risks, including but not limited to lifting or moving equipment, slips, trips, falls, or injuries from proximity to athletic activity. 4.2. Volunteers voluntarily assume all risks associated with their participation as an event volunteer.
  • 5. Liability Waiver

    5.1. By ticking the box on the registration form, volunteers agree to release Streetlifting Australia, event organizers, sponsors, venue owners, and any affiliated parties from any liability for injuries, damages, losses, or death sustained while volunteering. 5.2. This waiver includes, but is not limited to, claims of negligence, breach of duty, or breach of contract.
  • 6. Media Release

    6.1. Volunteers grant permission for Streetlifting Australia to capture and use photographs, videos, and other media of the event, including their likeness, for promotional purposes without compensation. 6.2. Volunteers waive any rights to inspect or approve the final media content.
  • 7. Rules and Regulations

    7. Rules and Regulations7.1. Volunteers agree to adhere to all event rules, policies, and reasonable directions from SLA or event officials. 7.2. Failure to comply may result in removal from the event.

    9.1. By signing this form, volunteers confirm that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. 9.2. This serves as a legally binding electronic signature, acknowledging acceptance of these terms.
