Note: International Judge applications will be approved only after a review by the full Culinary Competition Committee, which will take place three (3) times per year.
National or Associate Members President Signed Approval Letter (For Regional Judges)*

The National Association President or the Associate Member President must sign an approval letter.

National Association President Signed Approval Letter (For Continental Judges)*

If the application is submitted by an Associate Worldchefs Member, it must be signed and approved by the National President. If the National President does not provide a signature, a written explanation with a valid justification must be submitted within four weeks. If not received within that timeframe, the Culinary Competition Committee (CCC) will proceed with a decision in consultation with the Continental Director and notify the National President accordingly. For promotions from the Regional level, no additional signature is required, as approval was provided with the original application.

If the application is submitted by an Associate Worldchefs Member, it must be signed and approved by the National President. Provide a resume and brief bio explaining your position in the kitchen as a Chef, a Food Service Manager, or a Chef Educator in a culinary school.

Competition Experience (For Regional Judge)*

Documents to prove that you have competed in a competition as a team member, team manager, or as an individual, and have achieved at least two (2) silver medals in a Worldchefs Continental competition level or higher.

Documents to prove that you have been a Rookie judge at two (2) Worldchefs endorsed/accredited competitions at any level over the past two (2) years.

Recommendation Letters (For Continental Level)*

Upload two (2) letters of recommendation from two (2) accredited Worldchefs Certified International Judges (one from a different country than yours)

Regional Judging Evidence (For Continental Judge)*

Documents to prove that you have either been a Regional Judge or a Rookie Judge at one (1) major Worldchefs Endorsed Competition, such as IKA/Culinary Olympics Germany, Culinary World Cup Luxembourg, HOFEX Hong Kong or FHA Singapore (National Team), or at two (2) of the following competitions; FHM Malaysia, Philippine Cup the Philippines, FIC Competition Rimini Italy, Nordic Green Chef Scandinavia, Worldchefs Global Chef Semi-Finals and Finals, Worldchefs Continental level competitions and/or Bocuse d´Or France. Any other judging experience at Worldchefs Endorsed Competitions will be taken into consideration when documentation is provided with the correct signature and evidence.

Competition Experience (For Continental Judge)*

Please provide official documents or certificates demonstrating your experience in culinary competitions—as a competitor, team manager, or jury member. To validate your experience as a team member, team manager, or individual competitor, you must include documentation showing a minimum performance of at least one (1) gold medal earned at a Continental-level competition.

Competition Experience (For International Judge)*

Documents to prove that you have competition experience as a competitor or team manager. You must have won at least two (2) gold medals or three (3) silver medals (team or individual) in a Worldchefs Endorsed International or Global competition.

Continental Jury Member Evidence or Judging Prior to Elevation (For International Judge)*

Documents to prove you have been a Continental Jury Member at FOUR (4) Worldchefs Endorsed Continental competitions in the past five (5) years, events (allowing for COVID-19) when applying.

Recommendation Letters (For International Level)*

Upload two (2) letters of recommendation from current Worldchefs Certified International Judges with whom you have judged throughout an entire competition, not just a single class.

Note: The Competition Culinary Committee for judges applications will take into consideration your work and teaching experience as listed below.
Work Experience

Documents to prove that you have worked in a high-end restaurant or pastry establishment for a minimum of two (2) years. Applicants need to provide supporting letters from the owner/organization and confirm the level of employment.

Documents to prove that you have worked as a senior lecturer in a Worldchefs-accredited training provider for a minimum of five (5) years.

Note 1: All applications will be reviewed by the Worldchefs Culinary Competition Committee Chair and the decision to grant renewal status will be communicated to the applicant by the Committee Chair through the Worldchefs office in Paris. The Culinary Competition Committee has the right to refuse renewal status even if the above requirements are completed.
Note 2: If you are applying for a Pastry, Vegan / Plant Base Cuisine, Community Catering or Carving recognition as a judge, you must have completed a Worldchefs Competition relevant to that craft.
