IMPORTANT NOTICE: To be considered for casting, actors must not be involved in any other productions—whether as a performer, crew member, or other role—during the week before or the week after our show dates.
This policy is in place for the following reasons:
Final Rehearsals: The weeks leading up to our performance includes essential rehearsals. Full cast availability is critical to ensure a smooth and successful production.
Performance Recovery: The week following a show should include necessary rest and recovery time for an actor and especially for singers and dancers. Overlapping commitments and those that are too close together compromise your health, voice and body as well as the health and safety of your fellow cast members.
Full Team Commitment: Theatre is a collaborative effort. Your full presence supports not only your performance but the entire cast and crew. It is impossible to fully commit to two shows running back to back. You will be distracted by having to perform in the first, and underperform for at least the first two or three dress rehearsals in the second.
By agreeing to participate in the Musical Theatre Workshop, you agree that you will not be audition for or be involved in any other production, in any way, during the week before and after our show dates.
