Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Food Service Team Member to join our team at a fast-paced restaurant specializing in pizza and burritos. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently in a team-oriented environment. This role involves customer service, food preparation, and general housekeeping duties.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
-Greet customers in person and over the phone in a friendly and professional manner
-Take and process food orders accurately via phone and at the counter
-Answer questions about menu items and make recommendations when needed
Food Preparation:
-Sheet and prepare dough for pizzas
-Assemble and prepare pizzas and burritos to order following standard recipes and portion guidelines
-Ensure food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are met at all times
Order Packing & Takeout:
-Package completed orders for takeout or delivery, ensuring accuracy and presentation
-Double-check order tickets to confirm items are correct before handing off to customers or delivery personnel
Housekeeping & Cleaning:
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of food prep and dining areas
-Regularly sanitize workstations, equipment, and surfaces
-Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules
-Dispose of trash and assist in overall kitchen upkeep
Qualifications:
-Prior food service or customer service experience preferred but not required
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
-Strong attention to detail and time management skills
-Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
-Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
Schedule & Availability:
-Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
-Flexible scheduling is a plus
