Before you continue to submit a reimbursement request, here are a few important terms to qualify:
1) You must be an active resident who has signed a lease at the property you are requesting reimbursements for.
2) Your lease must have a current and active Latchel benefit subscription, and the habitability emergency must have occurred after your subscription start date..
3) Latchel reimburses up to $250 for 1 night of an overnight stay per incident
4) Maximum 2 reimbursements per year, up to $500.00 total
5) Your maintenance emergency must qualify as a habitability emergency for the following issues: (a) cannot properly heat the home with temperatures below the emergency threshold; (b) cannot properly cool the home with temperatures above the emergency threshold; (c) home cannot be safely secured making it unsafe to stay in the home; (d) extensive flooding or sewage backup causing danger to health.
6) The resident must have made an emergency maintenance request and allowed for at least 2 hours to dispatch a service provider.
7) Request must occur between 10 pm to 5 am in the property timezone to be eligible.
8) You must be current on your rent and any charges due to your property manager or landlord.
9) The invoice/receipt date should not exceed 3 months old
