(Will be allowed additional time before and after event for set-up and tear-down.)

Expected Attendance: Approximately 200 children plus their guardian(s)

Description:

Take Touch-A-Truck and combine it with your local trade schools, union workers, and beyond and you get Trucks & Trades!

Get ready for a hands-on adventure! Bring the kids out for a day of discovery where big trucks meet big ideas. Climb aboard construction vehicles, emergency response units, utility trucks, and more! Kids will also get to explore the exciting world of skilled trades through interactive demos and hands-on activities led by real professionals — from electricians and welders to carpenters and mechanics. It’s the perfect way to spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of builders, fixers, and doers!

We would love for you to join us and bring your expertise and/or equipment along with! Whether you want to demonstrate your trade or just bring along your vehicle, we'd love to chat with you! Are you a Welder? Bring your gear, your tools, or even projects you've created! Dog Groomer? Bring a grooming table along, we can supply some adorable stuffed animals, and the kids can brush the animals while you're teaching them all about your equipment and experience! Do you drive a semi-truck or snow plow? Bring it by and let the kiddos sit in the big ole' seat!
