Audition Registration
Karlovsky & Company Dance is seeking 5-8 skilled, versatile, and collaborative dancers for STAGED - a performance project this fall featuring original works by emerging and established choreographers. This performance is an opportunity to be part of a process-driven, creative environment that values innovation, risk-taking, and collaboration. Guest dancers will perform as an integrated cast with members of Karlovsky & Company Dance. AUDITION DATE: Sunday, July 12, 2026 - 4:00-7:00pm The Grandel Theater, 3610 Grandel Square, St. Louis, MO 63101 Performance Dates: November 13-14, 2026, Tech Rehearsals beginning: Monday, November 9th after 6:30pm. Venue: The Grandel Theater. Rehearsal Period: August–November; schedule will vary based on each choreographer.

WHO SHOULD AUDITION?
Dancers who… Have strong contemporary/modern dance training and experience, are open to collaborative and experimental processes, are comfortable working with both set material and improvisational structures, are committed, communicative, and professional in rehearsal and performance settings, and love being a part of a community-building dance project. If you are unable to attend in-person, please contact Dawn Karlovsky at info@karlovskydance.org for an alternate audition option or to submit your performance reel for consideration. We encourage dancers of all identities and backgrounds to apply.

Additional details
Selected dancers may be matched with choreographers based on availability and alignment of process. Selected dancers will receive a performance stipend between $275-$325 (depending on casting.)
