Step into the limelight with StoryBook Theatre! We're thrilled to throw open our doors to Calgary's vibrant community of artists once more.

Those auditioning must be at least 8 years of age at the time of audition.

Please review the COMMITMENT INFORMATION for all the shows you are interested in.
STORYBOOK ALUMNI

Returning StoryBook alumni, 18 years or older who have submitted a video audition in the past 3 years have the luxury to simply submit interest ALONG WITH a previous audition video. Alumni must complete the online form in order to be considered for callbacks.

Alumni are, of course, invited to still submit the full audition package if they wish.

Theatre School students would not be considered alumni.

HELLO VIDEO - This is a short introduction video where you show the panel who you are. In this video be sure to give us your name, age and why you want to be considered for StoryBook Theatre along with anything else you think we need to know about you. This should be no longer than one minute.*

MONOLOGUE VIDEO - Prepare a short monologue that best shows you. Make sure to introduce the monologue along with who it is by and speak clearly. Do not perform directly to the camera. This should be no longer than two minutes max.*

SONG VIDEO - You are encouraged to do a cut of the piece, but the full song is also acceptable. Your song choice can be anything you want that show cases you, that said, remember you are auditioning for a musical. These should be sung along with a track/accompaniment, but it is important that we hear you more than we hear the track.*
