    Get ready for hands-on activities, fun design challenges, and cool experiments that reveal surprising discoveries!

    We would love to register you and your family for our programming at our STEM Experience Center located at Girl Scouts of Central Indiana's Camp Dellwood property. Please register below!

     

    How to Register:

    1. Review the list of program dates & themes listed below
    2. Choose which program(s) you’d like to attend! 
    3. Select and pay for the program(s) below... and yes, you can register for more than one at a time!

    Costs per Program

    $10 per Family Guest (and non-Girl Scout youth participants)

    $8 per Adult

    Please note that registration is only refundable up to two weeks prior to program.  We can only process one refund per registration transaction, but can transfer registrations to future program date(s).

  • It's time for your program!

  • 1. You will receive a confirmation email prior to the program with more details about the program.   If you have any questions before, please contact our customer care department at 317-924-6800.

    2. Please park at the Founders Lodge, 7201 Girl Scout Lane, Indianapolis, In 46214 on the day of your program and use the paved trail to come to the Exploration Lab. Your host will greet you there!

    3. As your program concludes, please practice leaving a space better than you found it by returning supplies where you found them and cleaning up as best as you can.

    Sunday, December 14- Hot Cocoa & Coding: A Perfect Pair (5200-2807) . Get ready for a sweet and stimulating afternoon where the cozy comfort of hot cocoa meets the exciting world of computer science in a fun, hands-on event designed for all ages and skill levels. You and your family can move through a variety of self-guided stations at your own pace, exploring key coding concepts through creative and interactive activities. Such as designing pixel art ornaments, give precise instructions in a "human robot" challenge, and learn about the inspiring contributions of women in computer science. You'll also get to program Bee-Bots to gather virtual s'more ingredients and code Ozobots using color sequences. And don't miss our hot cocoa bar-enjoy a warm cup of cocoa while using your new coding skills to create the perfect jar of mix to take home. Whether you're brand new to coding or already a fan, this event is a playful and engaging way to explore, create, and experience the evolving world of computer science together. This family-friendly event is open to all, but activities are geared toward kids in kindergarten through grade 5. Girl Scouts can work towards earning their Code Basics badge while having a blast. So, gather your family and friends for a day of coding adventure! Event runs from 1-4pm and is open house style.

    Saturday, January 10- Frosty Discoveries and Chill Adventures (Family STEM Movie Night) (5200-2807). Chill out with us for a fun-filled evening of frosty discoveries! Kick off the night at our Exploration Lab with cool, snow-themed STEM activities. Get hands-on with exciting experiments, build your own winter wonderland, and uncover the fascinating science behind snowflakes. Then, cozy up for a family screening of Disney's "Frozen," complete with warm hot cocoa and delicious pizza! Event runs from 6-9pm.

    Sunday, February 8-Be STEM My Heart: A Valentine's Day STEM Extravaganza! (5200-2807) . Ready to fall in love with STEM? Celebrate Valentine's Day at the Evolution of Coding space! Join us for a day of hands-on, family-friendly STEM challenges designed to make hearts pound with excitement. You can explore a variety of Valentine-themed activities at your own pace and even create a special light-up card for your favorite Valentine. This event is perfect for families with students in kindergarten through 5th grade, but everyone is welcome. Activities will also support the Digital Game Design badge for Daisies, Brownies, and Juniors. Event runs from 1-4pm and is open house style.
