The Huntsville Youth Orchestra (HYO) believes participation in a youth orchestra is a deeply valuable and rewarding experience, and we are committed to making it accessible to all students regardless of financial circumstances. While we work hard to keep tuition as affordable as possible, we understand that full payment may not be feasible for every family.

Through this form, families may request financial aid, a payment plan, or both. No student will be turned away solely due to financial need.

If you receive financial aid, we ask that a parent or guardian volunteers their time in any way they are able—as a way to give back and support the HYO community.

All information submitted is confidential and will only be reviewed by the Executive Director and the Scholarship Committee. You will be notified of your award or payment plan confirmation by email as soon as possible.

This form must be completed by a parent or guardian at least one week prior to the first rehearsal of the season.

Payment Plan Preferences
Families on a payment plan must provide post-dated checks for each scheduled payment at the time of registration. This ensures we can honor your plan without needing to follow up monthly. The first payment is due at the time of registration, prior to the first rehearsal.
