レベルチェッククイズは、お子さまの英語力を把握するために作成されたものです。辞書やソフトウェアを使用せず、お子さま自身で取り組んでいただくようお願いいたします。
時間制限はありませんが、15〜25分程度での受験をおすすめしております。ライティングは、ノートなどに手書きでご記入いただき、写真をご提出ください。
お子さまが難しいと感じる問題は、飛ばしていただいて問題ありません。必要に応じて、保護者様が指示を読む等、サポートをお願いいたします。

Dear parents and guardians,

This form is intended only for students who have completed the trial lesson application process.
If we are unable to confirm a corresponding trial lesson application, we will not be able to proceed with further guidance or registration procedures.
Please also note that submissions made without a trial lesson application will not be accepted.

This quiz is designed to help us to understand your child’s English level. Please have them take this on their own without using a dictionary or software and without help.
There is no time limit, but we recommend students take between 15 and 25 minutes in total. For the writing section, please ask your child to write on any piece of paper, such as a note book. You will then be able to submit a photograph of this to complete the test.

If they are unsure of what to do, please help them to read the instructions. If they find a question hard, they may skip that question.

Lazy Jack

Once upon a time, in England, there was a boy named Jack. Jack lived with his mother in a tiny house near a village in Buckinghamshire. They were very poor. Jack’s mother earned some money by sewing and weaving. But it was never enough. The trouble was, Jack was lazy. He did nothing to earn money or help at home. In summer, he lay all day out in the warm sun. In winter, he sat daydreaming in front of the fireplace. He slept for twelve hours a day. No matter how hard she tried, Jack’s mother couldn’t get Jack to lift a finger. Finally, she had no choice. One spring morning, she confronted him.

“Jack, you lazy good-for-nothing,” she began. “You are eating us out of house and home. If you don’t work for your room and board, I will turn you out. Then you will have to earn your living on your own.”

For some reason, this threat frightened Jack. His mother sounded very serious. He could tell she meant business. “I’ll do as you say,” Jack promised.
