Training Description:
This powerful two-day training is designed to educate and equip Peer Recovery Specialists and behavioral health professionals with the knowledge and tools needed to support Pregnant Women and Women with Children (PWWC) who are navigating recovery.
Participants will engage in dynamic, trauma-informed sessions featuring:

Define peer support and its unique application to PWWC
Recognize everyday stressors and treatment access barriers
Understand stigma, labeling, and implicit bias
Learn to refer clients through the BHA application process
Improve documentation with real-life role-play
Maintain ethical standards and peer boundaries
Build targeted peer support strategies and resource lists
Target Audience:
Peer Recovery Specialists, Recovery Coaches, Case Managers, Behavioral Health Technicians, and other frontline professionals supporting women and families in recovery.
