Trail Blazer Sign-Up Form 2025

Hello there!

The Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center is looking for both experienced trail volunteers and those looking to learn more about trail work to help maintain the various hiking trails around the Nature Center and Coogan Farm.

Tasks for trail volunteers will involve one or more of the following: brush clearing, pruning, sawing, re-painting tree blazes, clearing culverts of debris, invasive species removal and litter pickup depending upon the time of year. For example, brush cutting is done yearly around July and November, spring cleanup in April, and invasive species removal at certain intervals.

The trail maintenance team meets every other Saturday of the month starting June 28th from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. We may add more dates as the year progresses. Please use this form to let us know which of these dates you are available. Please select only the dates you currently know you are available, however this form can be resubmitted throughout the year.
