Job Overview:

MTVG is seeking a full-time Facilities Manager

 

Open Location(s):  

Denver -- Englewood, Colorado (Near Centennial Airport)

Experience and Technical Expertise:

• A minimum of 5 years managing facilities maintenance, with a strong focus on complex systems such as HVAC, cooling towers, UPS systems, and generators. This includes verifying service requests, monitoring ongoing maintenance needs, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring work is completed accurately and on schedule
• At least 2 years conducting routine inspections, identifying necessary repairs, and proactively tracking maintenance requirements to maintain optimal facility performance
• Proficiency in handling emergency situations, with a demonstrated ability to assess issues quickly, provide viable solutions, and lead efforts to resolve problems effectively
• Experience in operating Building Management Systems (BMS) for HVAC
• Experience in building operations including Security Cameras and access control

Technical Skills and Mechanical Aptitude:

• Extensive knowledge in general facilities maintenance across various trades, including electrical, plumbing and HVAC skills
• Electrical troubleshooting capabilities, including using multimeters, conducting voltage drop tests, performing continuity checks, and reading and interpreting electrical schematics
• High mechanical aptitude with the ability to read and comprehend manuals and technical documents. A solid understanding of fluid and HVAC systems, as well as sensitivity to compliance and procedural standards
• Ability to safely and effectively operate a variety of hand and power tools, electrical instrumentation and material handling equipment necessary for maintenance and repair tasks

Physical Requirements:

• Capacity to handle physical demands such as prolonged standing, walking, bending, kneeling and lifting up to 50 pounds 
• Physical ability to operate machinery and navigate building infrastructure (e.g., climbing ladders or scaffolding)
• Familiarity with proper lifting techniques and safety protocols to prevent injury and ensure safety during physically demanding tasks
  

Project Management and Administrative Skills:

• Proven experience managing maintenance projects with careful attention to time, resource allocation and safety
• Ability to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules, accurately track work progress, and ensure all maintenance activities are documented in compliance with regulatory standards
• Experience working with computer-based systems for communication, scheduling, tracking maintenance activities, and version controlled documentation management
  

Communication and Stakeholder Management:

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, from contractors and vendors to senior management
• Capable of providing detailed, accurate reports on maintenance activities and project progress, as well as training personnel on best practices for maintenance and safety
  

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working within a broadcast facility or data center environment, understanding unique operational demands
• Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, engineering, or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in both technical knowledge and management principles
