  • Harvest Christian Academy Volunteer Application

  • Our school exists to shepherd students to think biblically, love sacrificially, and live honorably. Your interest in volunteering at Harvest Christian Academy is appreciated. We invite you to complete this initial application. If an opening occurs for which you may qualify, we will follow up with you.

We realize that the key to a successful Christian school is its staff and volunteers. We are seeking applicants who are qualified for their role, who really love children, and who, by the pattern of their lives, are Christian role models (Luke 6:40). We look forward to receiving your initial application. Thank you for your interest in the ministry of our school. It is our prayer that God will fulfill His perfect will in the lives of all applicants.

  • Harvest Christian Academy Statement of Faith

    1. We believe the Bible, the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God (2 Tim. 3:16, 2 Pet. 1:21).

    2. We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Gen. 1:1, Matt. 28:19, Jn. 10:30).

    3. We believe in the deity of Christ (John 10:33), His virgin birth (Is. 7:14, Matt. 1:23, Lk. 1:35), His sinless life (Heb. 4:15; 7:26), His miracles (Jn. 2:11), His vicarious and atoning death (1 Cor. 15:3, Eph. 1:7, Heb. 2:9), His resurrection (Jn. 11:25, 1 Cor. 15:4), His ascension to the right hand of the Father (Mark 16:19), and His personal return in power and glory (Acts 1:11, Rev. 19:11).

    4. We believe in the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature; and that men are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God’s grace and through faith alone we are saved (Jn. 3:16-19, 5:24; Rom. 3:23; 5:8–9; Eph. 2:8–10; Titus 3:5).

    5. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of life, and the lost unto the resurrection of condemnation (Jn. 5:28–29).

    6. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (Rom. 8:9, 1 Cor. 12:12–13, Gal. 3:26–28).

    7. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life (I Cor. 3:16, 6:19–20, Rom. 8:13–14, Eph. 4:30, Eph. 5:18).

    8. We believe that the term marriage has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture (Gen. 2:18–25). We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other (1 Cor. 6:18, 7:2–5; Heb. 13:4). We believe that God commands that there be no sexual intimacy outside of or apart from marriage between a man and a woman.

    9. We believe that God wonderfully foreordained and immutably created each person as either male or female in conformity with their biological sex. These two distinct yet complementary genders together reflect the image and nature of God (Gen. 1:26–27).

    10. We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image and is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life. (Gen. 1:27).

    Conclusion

This statement of faith is not exhaustive of all of our beliefs. In matters not described in this document, the Bible itself will be the final authority concerning truth, morality, and proper conduct. The Bible is the sole and final source of all that we believe. The Harvest Christian Academy Board of Directors holds final interpretive authority on biblical meaning and application with regard to faith, doctrine, policy, practice, and discipline.
