The Coach of the Year recognises and honours a high‑performance coach in Western Australia who has demonstrated excellence in coaching leadership, contribution to state and national pathways, and a sustained commitment to advancing coaching standards and volleyball performance through education, mentorship, and professional development.

Eligibility:
- Have a valid Level 2 State or Level 3 Volleyball Australia Coach Accreditation
- Reside primarily in Western Australia
Criteria (Nominations must demonstrate three or more of the following):
- Has coached at AYBVC, AYVC and / or AVSL from 1st October 2025 to 30th October 2026
- Has coached at a national and / or international level within the defined period outlined above.
- Be registered with, and actively coaching at a VWA Affiliated Club / Association
- Actively contributes to the coach education and development of volleyball in WA as a presenter, mentor and / or VWA Coach Committee Member
- Actively pursues and demonstrated personal and professional development.
