  • Fees

    ·      All AM/PM Club fees are payable to The Woolwell Centre monthly, in advance, no later than by the 3rd of the month for which the fees are applicable.  

    ·      All correspondence and Invoices will be sent to your preferred e-mail address.

     ·      Additional Fees – payment for should be made by bank transfer:

                    I.         £10.00 late payment charge for every separate 15-minute period (or part thereof) after your child(ren)’s agreed pick up time

    ·      Non-Payment of fees, by the due date, WILL result in your child(ren)’s place being suspended and possibly withdrawn.

    We reserve the right, in the instance of non-payment of fees, to waive the aforementioned 28 days’ notice period and terminate your child(ren)’s placement immediately.

     

    Voucher Schemes

    We accept most child care voucher schemes.  We require full details of the Company Scheme you are planning to use BEFORE you register your child.  We reserve the right to cease using any voucher scheme without notice.

     

    Non-Attendance

    If your child(ren) is not able to attend their booked place we will not issue a refund or transfer any payment made to a future session.

     

    Termination

    ·      Parents wishing to terminate their child(ren)’s place at the AM/PM club must give 28 days’ written notice to am.pm@woolwellcentre.co.uk

    Verbal notification of termination WILL NOT be accepted.

    ·      Termination notifications will be acknowledged by e-mail and any fees owing at the time of termination are required to be paid IMMEDIATELY.  Failure to pay any fees owing at the time of termination WILL resort in legal recovery action through MCOL.

    ·      The Woolwell Centre AM/PM Club reserve the right to terminate the placement of any child(ren) by giving 28 days written notice to the registered parent/guardian of the child(ren).

    By signing this document, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of The Woolwell Centre AM/PM Club. 

    Failure to adhere to the contents of these T’s & C’s will result in any agreement between The Woolwell Centre AM/PM Club and you – the Parent/Guardian – relating to the attendance of your child(ren) at our AM/PM Club to become null and void.

    1. I consent for my child/ren to attend am.pm@woolwellcentre I understand that the club has policies and procedures (which are available for reference at the club), and that there are expectations and obligations relating both to the club and to myself and my child/ren, and I agree to abide by them.

    2. I understand that am.pm@woolwellcentre is a play setting and that whilst my child/ren is attending the am.pm@woolwellcentre is legally responsible for him/her.

    3. My child/ren will have access to drinking water.

    4. Once my child/ren is collected from Bickleigh Down Church of England Primary School they are in the care of am.pm@WoolwellCentre.

    5. I will notify the club before 14:30 if I am collecting my child/ren from school on a day that he/she is booked to attend the club. I understand that I will be charged for the booked session.

    6. All fees are payable to the Woolwell Centre and need to be paid monthly in advance no later than the 3rd of the month, for all booked sessions whether my child/ren attends or not (eg due to illness or holidays).

    7. It is my responsibility to keep the centre and am.pm administrator of the Woolwell Centre informed of any alterations to the information regarding my child/ren (e.g. contact details, medical conditions, etc).

    8. am.pm@woolwellcentre  closes at 18:00 pm. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, I am going to be late, I will contact the supervisor/manager/deputy as soon as possible on 01752 695888. I understand that there will be a charge of £10.00 for every 15 minutes.

    9. If I do not collect my child/ren by the end of their booked session I agree to pay a charge of £10.00 for every 15 minutes thereafter to cover the costs of the staff who are legally required to supervise my child/ren.

    10. If I do not collect my child/ren by 18:30pm, I will be charged £20.00 for the 30 minutes to cover staff costs. If the club has been unable to reach me or any of my emergency contacts, I understand that am.pm@woolwellcentre will follow its Uncollected Children Policy and contact Social Care.

    11. Whilst am.pm@woolwellcentre tries to ensure the safety and security of items, I understand that it cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to my child/ren’s property whilst at the club.

    12. I have read the club’s Behaviour Management Policy and agree to its terms and appreciate that in some circumstances it may be necessary to exclude my child/ren from the club, and I will pay for any missed sessions unless otherwise agreed with the manager.

    13. If there are any accidents or incidents at am.pm@woolwellcentre involving my child/ren, I will be informed.

    14. If my child/ren has an accident at the club, he/she will be treated by a qualified first aider and I will be informed as soon as possible. If my child/ren needs urgent medical treatment and I am unavailable, a member of staff from am.pm@woolwellcentre  will sign any consent forms necessary for treatment on my behalf, as stated on the club’s medical form.

    16.  I consent for my child/ren to have their a) Nappy/underwear b) Clothes changed by a member of staff.  This would only happen should there be any incidents where they have wet/soiled or vomited on themselves.

    17. Information held by am.pm@woolwellcentre regarding my child/ren will be treated as confidential. However, in certain circumstances, for example, if there are child protection concerns, I understand that the club has a legal duty to pass certain information on to other agencies, including police, social care and health care professionals.  I consent to this information being passed on.

    18. I understand that aggressive and abusive behaviour towards staff by child/ren and/or parent/guardian will not be tolerated. Please see Behaviour Management Policy for full details.

    In the event that the inappropriate behaviour continues for more than 2 incidences after all the above strategies have been attempted:

    • The AM.PM Supervisor will have a more detailed but informal discussion, outside of the AM.PM setting, outlining the situation with the parents/carers in an attempt to find the possible cause of the behaviour.

    If step 1 doesn’t resolve the issues -

    • The child’s parents/carers will be asked to attend a formal meeting with the AM.PM Supervisor and the AM.PM Manager to further discuss the child’s behaviour, it’s possible causes and to agree a strategy for improvement within the AM.PM setting. This may also include the AM.PM Supervisor, Centre Manager and the parents/carers developing strategies for dealing with the unwanted behaviour which could be implemented at home.

    • Should it be necessary and with the consent of the parent/carer, advice and assistance will be sought from relevant external specialists to address the matter.

    • In extreme cases, to protect other children and staff, AM.PM @ Woolwell Centre reserves the right to exclude the child from the group, this may be a temporary or permanent measure.

    19. I agree to inform and complete a club collection form which is available from the am.pm@woolwellcentre club if my child/ren are attending an afterschool club at Bickleigh Down. If I have not informed the am.pm@woolwellcentre and I require my child/ren to be collected I agree to pay a fee of £5.00.

    20. If my child/ren is booked in until 4:30pm and I am running late and I will automatically be charged £6.50 to extend the session until 6:00pm. I will inform the club and agree to pay the additional fee of £6.50 to be paid by BACS immediately to cover additional staff that are needed due to Ofsted ratio regulations.
