Support River Education!

Your tax-deductible donation helps bring children to the river. And so much more. It's a genuine connection to the increasingly distant natural world. It's an opportunity to understand how to interact, work as a team, achieve things together, take responsibility, and experience real life beyond a screen. Junior Guides emphasizes teamwork, adventure, leadership, and environment stewardship. Our 501(c)3 non-profit has been making this kind of impact since 2011. Your support provides scholarships for less advantaged kids, expands our summer programs, and helps us plan programs in other watersheds. Junior Guides fill up quickly and we always have a waitlist! In 2025 we will have more than 440 campers on the South Fork American, Tuolumne and the Kern rivers. Our administrative staff are all volunteers, and the organization relies on donations, camp tuition, T-shirt sales, and Paddling Film Festival sales to cover ongoing costs.
