    Hole Design & Build Specifications:

    • Holes size- no larger than 200 sq ft.
    • Hole must include a drink holder.
    • Please cap your budget at $1,000.
    • Holes must be built ahead of time and offsite.
      • On the day of the event your hole should be ready to install with only minor adjustments needed. No saws will be allowed on the property. Drills are fine.
      • Tools and equipment used for installation (as well as the hole itself) can not cause damage or penetrate the turf. Nothing staked into the ground.
    • No power outlets will be provided. Holes should be able to be played without electricity. Battery power features are fine.
    • Entries will be assigned a time slot to load in and set up their holes the morning of Friday, Sept. 19th.

    Hole Removal:

    • Hole must be deconstructed and removed from New Belgium on Sunday evening, immediately following the end of the event and award ceremony (5PM on 9/20/26)
    • Participants are responsible for removing their hole from the property and disposing or transporting it to it's next destination. We may provide a list of locations who are open to accepting holes as donations. It will be up to participants to confirm and coordinate donations.
    • No holes can remain on the property past Sunday evening.

    Security & Safety:

    • Once holes are unloaded and set in place on Friday they will stay out until Sunday evening. We recommend keeping the following in mind as you design:
      • There is no weather protection provided. Holes and features should be able to withstand all weather conditions.
      • There is no overnight security.
      • This is a public event open to all ages and families with kids. Please keep in mind there are many kids who will be playing on the holes. While we will be working to encourage parent supervision, it's important to consider this while designing and building your hole.
        • No loose or unattached objects that can be removed and taken.
        • Nothing to climb.
        • Make holes as sturdy as possible.

    Competition and Prize Conditions:

    • This is a public event, open to all ages.
    • We will have several categories this year with prize opportunities. Categories will be voted on by the public players as well as judges' choice. (Judges - team Dude Dad)
    • Votes will be counted and the winning builder(s) will be announced Sunday at the closing ceremony.
    • The Dude Dad team is not eligible to win the competition or prize.
