Thank you for your interest in our Cat Foster Program. We are actively looking for ...
- Experienced fosters for cats and kittens that require socialization or that can assist us in working with cats/ kittens with behavioral needs
- Fosters with experience caring for unweaned / bottle babies
- Medical / Hospice Fosters: those that are elderly or cats/kittens that requiere medication administration
- Ringworm Fosters: Have an isolated room of their house to help us care for amazing cats/kittens with easily curable skin infections
- Fosters that have no other pets, or a floor/area of their house where our animals can be without exposure to other animals
Please note: Our team is working hard to support the many animals in our care, so at this time we are only able to approve through and reach out to applicants who meet the needs of one of our current animals. If you wish to adopt your foster animal, please request, complete, and return an adoption application. You must be 18 years or older to foster or adopt an animal.

CURRENT OWNER'S(1) NAME: ARC

I agree ... to abide by the Program and Policies set forth by ARC. I understand that at any time any foster animal in my care may be removed from my home with or without reason by or on the authority of ARC staff. I understand that ARC foster animals do not belong to me or my family. I understand that should I want to adopt an ARC foster animal; it will be at the sole discretion of the ARC staff. I understand that I will have a strong influence in who shall adopt any foster animal in my care, but the ARC rescue staff has the final word in my foster pet’s adoption. I understand that I am expected to follow up on all of my adoptions as needed and assist adopters through the adjustment period, but I am not to force the adopters to remain connected to me or ARC beyond that (“no-strings” policy).I am aware there is no guarantee, warranty or full knowledge of any rescued pet’s health and temperament. I volunteer to accept the rescued animal in my charge as a humanitarian act and agree to release and hold harmless ARC and its volunteers, from any and all liability or responsibility in connection with any pet(s) I agree to foster.I agree ... that any monetary or in-kind (adoption or general) donations that I collect or receive on behalf of ARC will be turned over to ARC. Additionally, I hereby certify that I am in good standing with the local rescue groups and veterinarians. I agree to uphold a professional relationship with every contact I have through ARC, including, but not limited to vet clinics, distributors, potential adopters, other volunteers of ARC, and other rescues. Furthermore, I promise that I will not conduct myself in any manner which could reflect badly on ARC or any of ARC’s volunteers. Last, I certify that I am at least 18 years of age and a legal US citizen. I agree to include a photocopy of my current driver’s license for verification purposes. I understand that this will be kept confidential and not given out to any other parties.ARC cannot accommodate people fulfilling court-ordered community service within the Foster Care Program. ARC does not accept into this program those convicted of violent crimes or crimes involving animal cruelty or neglect.I agree I am responsible for transporting the animals for veterinary appointments, surgery, behavior evaluations, vaccinations, etc., I may also be responsible for transporting the animal to and from adoption events, and to off-site training classes, at the Foster Care Coordinator’s discretion.I agree to keep the animal safe and secure, return it to ARC when requested to do so, and notpromise the animal to anyone, or imply that you have the authority to approve a potential adoption. ARC retains ownership of all animals placed in foster care, and will make all decisions regarding the adoption &placement of the animals fostered.
