  • Thank you for your interest in vending at our upcoming Fall and Winter 2025 events. Please complete this application if you would like to participate in one or more of the following events:  

     

    Saturday, September 20 (11 am - 5 pm): Fall Equinox & Hispanic Heritage Celebration at Westfield Montgomery Mall.

    Saturday, October 18 (11 am - 5 pm): Fairfax Corner

    Saturday, October 25 & Sunday, October 26 (11 am - 5 pm): Rio - Grand Corner Blvd. Separate participation on each day

    Saturday, November 8 (10 am - 4 pm): Downtown Silver Spring

    Saturday, December 6 & Sunday, December 7 (times tbd): Indoor Holiday Market at Rio - 30 Grand Corner Ave. Two-day event

    Saturday, December 13 & Sunday, December 14 (times tbd): Indoor Holiday Market at Rio - 30 Grand Corner Ave. Two-day event

      

    To qualify, vendors must reside within the DMV (DC, Maryland, Virginia), and sell hand-crafted artisan goods and/or original art. For our events, we seek quality products primarily within the categories of: Art, Wellness (bath, beauty, skin care, candles, etc.), Clothing & Accessories, Home Goods & Decor, Jewelry, Products for Babies & Kids, Pet Accessories & Toys, Paper Products & Stationery, and Artisan Gourmet Food & Drink products.

    We work hard to ensure that each market has a good balance of diversity in products, price points, and returning/new vendors. We carefully review all applications and look at pictures and social media handles, so please provide as much information as possible to help us evaluate your application. 

    You are welcome to apply to as many of the event dates as you'd like. However, please note that we receive a large number of applications and there are a limited number of vendor spaces available. Given the high demand and our goal to diversify, if accepted, most applicants will only be offered one or two dates. We highly recommend flexibility in applying for multiple dates in case we can't accommodate your first choice. If you only apply for one date, there is no guaranteed of acceptance. 

  • This application must be completed and submitted no later than Friday, July 11. We will not consider any incomplete applications or any submitted after the July 11 deadline. Notification emails will be sent no later than Friday, July 25.

  • Read carefully the following Terms and Conditions for participation in our events. By completing this application, you warrant that you have read and agreed to the following:

    1. The October 18, October 25 & 26, and November 8 markets will take place OUTDOOR. For those events, each vendor will be allocated a 10' x 10' space. Vendors are required to supply their own 10' x 10' canopy tent of any color or design. Tent legs are required to be weighted with a minumum of twenty (20) pounds per leg (minimum of 80 pounds total). 

    2. The September 20 event at Montgomery Mall & the December Holiday Market dates at Rio will be INDOOR events.

    3. At Montgomery Mall, a six-foot table, tablecloth and 2 chairs will be provided. Any brand signage and/or banner must be displayed either table-top or attached to the front of the tablecloth.

    4. At the Rio December Holiday Market, vendors are responsible for supplying all table(s), tablecloth(s), product displays, and brand signs/banners. 

    5. Cancellation/No Show Policy: If a vendor cancel priors to their participation up to 30 days before the event date, organizers will offer a refund of vendor fee, minus a $50 administrative fee. For vendors who cancel within 30 days of the event, organizers will make reasonable efforts to find a replacement vendor. If one can be found, vendors will receive a refund of the vendor fee, minus a $50 administrative fee. If a replacement cannot be found, no refunds will be issued. Vendors who "no show" on the event date will not receive any refund of fees.  Vendors may not "sell" or "rent" their spot to another vendor.

    6. For the OUTDOOR markets, vendors may share a space if both vendors apply separately and are both accepted. Two separate vendors (including close friends and/or family members) may not share a space without our prior approval. Vendors sharing a space understand that there is a sharing fee assessed, as described below.

    7. Inclement Weather: Our markets take place outdoors and are therefore subject to various weather conditions. All scheduled events will be held, RAIN OR SHINE. Organizers reserve the right to cancel an event due to exreme/dangerous weather conditions. If that happens, organizers will make reasonable efforts to work with the property management to schedule an alternate rain date.
